Summer may be over, but hoteliers and other industry players are seeing leisure travel trends extending well into fall this year, buoyed in part by a pandemic-era shift toward remote work and schooling.

Due to high demand, Hyatt’s Work From Hyatt program – which offers stays starting at $139 per night – was expanded this fall to comprise nearly 60 participating hotels across North America and the Caribbean. The Work From Hyatt package, which requires minimum stays of seven nights, features standard guestroom or suite overnight accommodations, a separate workspace, daily food and beverage credits and complimentary WiFi, among other amenities.

Likewise, InterContinental Hotels Group’s Kimpton brand has launched work-from-hotel packages at a number of properties, including new day rates at the Kimpton Saint George Hotel in Toronto and a $79-per-day remote-work offer at the Kimpton Cardinal Hotel in Winston-Salem, N.C.
